Welcome!
My name is Bruce Stahlman and I am a Littleton City Council At Large Representative. Three years ago I left corporate America to become Chief Financial Officer of ARC Thrift Stores, a Colorado charity. With 19 stores along the Front Range, we exist to fund the ARC Chapters engaged in advocacy for people with developmental disabilities. Over that time, we've grown revenue to $43 million and distributed $10 million to the ARC Chapters mainly because the management team focused on leadership and the vision of what we could become. We've done all this by partnering with our stakeholders; adopting best practices to grow the business; and, by promoting ARC Thrift so customers know they'll get great value and they'll feel good by supporting a good cause.
Now, open communication, transparency and attention to details are all strong parts of Littleton city government. So too should be leadership and the vision to lay the foundation for a strong future. That doesn't mean changing the character of the City, a message I've heard clearly while serving as President of the Friends of the Library and Museum and on the Historical Preservation Board. Rather, the challenge is to enhance the Community in ways that add value, retain the essence of what makes Littleton special and honor our responsibility to use tax dollars wisely.
On City Council, I'll work for Littleton the same way I've worked for ARC Thrift by focusing on partnering with stakeholders; adopting best practices; and, by promoting Littleton as a great place to buy a home, raise a family, open a business, get involved...to live and thrive.
My e-mail address is bruce.stahlman@gmail.com, my phone is 720.987.7955 and I promise to return all messages.
The honor is to serve! Let's go to work!
Paid for by the Committee to Elect Bruce Stahlman, Max Smith - Treasurer
